Electric Forest Festival elected to deliver their line-up announcement in a community effort on social media earlier yesterday.
On Groundhog Day 2016, there were definitely some members of the Forest Family that didn’t see just another shadow of a festival line-up announcement — they saw the sunshine and actually participated in announcing EFF’s 2016 line-up through air mailed packages with clever design. Like a quasi-golden ticket, these fans became bastions of good news for those attending the sold out event in Rothbury, MI in late June as part of the #EF2016Reveal.
Some of the heavy hitters include the return of Bassnectar, the always present String Cheese Incident, the lean of Major Lazer, the trap-tastic vibes of Fetty Wap, and the new jazz lord Kamasi Washington.
Electric Forest returns to The Sherwood Forest in Rothbury, Michigan from June 23 – 26, 2016. Tickets are sold out, so all we can do is count down the days.
