Electric Daisy Carnival and the team at Insomniac Events have set the industry standard when it comes to electronic dance music festivals.
Returning to Orlando from Friday, November 7 through Saturday, November 8, the fourth year of EDC Orlando should be no different. For two nights our electronic dance music family will reunite under the electric sky for mind blowing production, emotion invoking music, and life changing memories.
Here are 5 of our must see performances at EDC Orlando:
Andrew Rayel
It is difficult to even fathom the amount of momentum Andrew Rayel has gained over the past year.
Dubbed a ‘Modern Day Mozart’ by one of the best DJs of all time (Armin van Buuren), Rayel has been living up to this ultimate acclaim.
The release of Rayel’s first full length studio album – Find Your Harmony – is a showcase of his production skills and musical talent; one that the Moldovan born producer has been taking to all corners of the globe. With over 650 performances including Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, and Ushuaia, Andrew continues to show why he is a force to be reckoned with.
The Armada Music prodigy is sure to bring a memorable set to EDC Orlando. His attention to detail means that each song and every production element is specifically, and carefully, chosen. From classical compositions of Hans Zimmer to traditional trance, you can guarantee that Andrew Rayel has a thoughtfully diverse creation up his sleeve.
Henry Fong
No matter what the circumstances, Henry Fong elevates the atmosphere to new heights every time he steps on stage.
Having added multiple tracks and collaborations to his repertoire over the past year, including the massively received “Stand Up,” the stage will be set for Fong to lay down the truth.
Though every set by Henry Fong leaves you with that tingly feeling, his Orlando shows are on a different level. Performing in his home state, not far from where he grew up, always draws dedicated fans that have been there since the beginning. That Electric Daisy Carnival element adds just the little bit necessary to push it over the edge.
Knife Party
When it comes to an all out head thrashing, ground shaking party, Knife Party‘s sets are towards the top of the list.
With the release of their latest EP – Abandon Ship – right around the corner, expect to hear some new tunes way before any one else.
Their piercing light designs, driving bass lines, and high-pitched riffs keep the energy level turned all the way up from start to finish. If you are looking for anything other than an all out rager, this is not the set for you. You will undoubtedly be drenched in sweat by the end of this set.
Oliver Heldens
Since catching the attention of Tiesto in 2013 with his single “Gecko,” Oliver Heldens has exploded onto the scene.
His sophisticated blend of deep house and future house have earned him spots at the biggest events in the world in addition to features on BBC Radio 1 as Pete Tong’s “Essential New Tune.” Having since signed to Spinnin’ Records, all the pieces are in place for Heldens to continue laying down anthem after anthem.
If you are looking for a unique set that will have your body moving in some type of way, do not pass up Oliver Heldens.
Tritonal
Since landing on MTV Clubland’s “10 Artists to Watch in 2013,” Tritonal has risen to international superstar status.
If you have ever been to a Tritonal show, it is easy to see why. Their energy and appreciation for their fans is exemplified through their music, live performances, and weekly radio show. It is this relationship that has led to a loyal following of ‘Tritonians’ who are sure to bring one of the most loyal crowds of the entire festival.
With the recent release of their Metamorphic III EP and conclusion of their 40-city North American tour, you can bet Tritonal has something special in store.
