EDC Las Vegas 2021: The Best Photos, Sets and Features

This year welcomed over 200 of the world’s top dance music talents, including show-stopping sets by Zedd, Kygo, Black Coffee, Rezz, Eric Prydz, SLANDER b2b Said The Sky, Kygo and more. neonGARDEN’s iconic tent design returned to EDC this year with Factory 93’s signature deep house and techno sound. This year also featured an expanded festival footprint, utilizing new areas of the venue. The performers, art installations and of course the music brought the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to life, inviting Headliners to explore and connect over the past three nights. And love was in the air all weekend as couples tied the knot at one of Downtown EDC’s two chapels, the Chapel of Nature and the Chapel of Technology. EDC offered legal unions, non-legal commitment ceremonies and vow renewals all weekend long.

The weekend excitement would not have been complete without a few surprise performances and appearances.  Zedd introduced fellow dance music hitmaker Martin Garrix to his energetic set at cosmicMEADOW. You never know who you may see make a surprise appearance at EDC and this year was no different, with iconic dance music stars giving fans intimate performances. Alison Wonderland gave a special house set on the Parliament Art Car and Illenium surprised fans by popping up on the Forest House Art Car on Friday night. The Forest House Art Car also hosted performances by Diplo and Vintage Culture on Saturday night. On Sunday, Jauz and Slushii made sure Headliners were dancing all night long at the Corona Electric Beach.

This year marked the third year of the growing Camp EDC, welcoming 25,000 campers to stay just steps away from the venue. Camp EDC is truly a 24-hour bustling adventure with daily daytime pool parties and post-festival after parties with appearances by John Summit, Dom Dolla and more. Other activities such as mindfulness experiences, activities, beauty stations and more were available for campers.

Night one included performances by acts such as Moore Kismet, 16, the youngest artist to play the festival, ILLENIUM with the surprise takeover of the Forest House Art Car and Alison Wonderland with two epic sets at circuitGROUNDS and a house set at the Parliament Art Car. Festivalgoers enjoyed an epic once-in-a-lifetime drone show featuring over 600 drones simultaneously soaring through the sky amazing the headliners that gazed in awe from throughout the Speedway. Following the drone show was the iconic EDC fireworks display, which celebrated the return of live music, 10 years of EDC Las Vegas and 25 years of Electric Daisy Carnival.

We closed out an unforgettable second night of the 10th celebration of Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas with Headliners dancing and twirling to performances by dance music’s brightest stars, another nightly epic fireworks show and more. Headliners marveled at performances by deadmau5, Gryffin, Martin Garrix, Maceoplex, DJ Diesel, Louis The Child, SLANDER, Vintage Culture and more.

Surprise performances reigned supreme tonight with two show-stopping sets. Hitmaker Diplo surprised fans at cosmicMEADOW with hip-hop prodigy Lil Nas X to perform the chart-topping “Industry Baby,” “Montero” and “Old Town Road.” After the festival’s signature celebratory fireworks, DJ Snake brought down the house and introduced The Kid Laroi as the crowd sang along to “Stay.” Global-phenom Tiësto, the only artist to play all 10 years of EDC Las Vegas, performed an epic set at kineticFIELD, playing his smash hits “The Business,” “Split” and more. Reality star Brody Jenner soared into the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Maverick Helicopters’ exclusive service before his surprise bartending appearance serving up delicious Mamitas Tequila & Soda for thirsty fans.

The nightly fireworks show wowed fans as they gazed at the Electric Sky from the festival grounds below. The fireworks opened with a booming EDC 25, celebrating 25 years of the world’s biggest dance music festival. The fan-favorite drone show returned for the second night in a row, highlighting some of kineticFIELD’s iconic stage designs from over the years. kineticCATHEDRAL, kineticGAIA, kineticLOVE, and kineticENERGY reminded Headliners of the beautiful memories we’ve made together over the years. Tonight’s drone show featured a new soundtrack, and attendees can look forward to one more night of the beautiful EDC 25 celebration with another specially curated soundtrack.

This weekend, Headliners celebrated Under the Electric Sky in the transformed Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which celebrated mindfulness with each other with kineticZEN.
