After bursting into the Beatport Top 10 with his first release of “All Up In That,” EARBUTTER is back on the throwdown. The second release from the mysterious emerging artist is “Hustlas and Customers” which is accompanied by a pretty sick Grand Theft Auto-like video.
Shot 90% with a GoPro by EARBUTTER himself, this innovative approach to production follows the Los Angeles hustla on a typical day slangin’ through the hood. Filled with girls, guns, boats, cars, and cash, this trap fairy tale follows the former hip-hop artist through an action packed day that ends where it all started.
This new video from EARBUTTER kept me glued to the screen. The music and visuals worked so well. Very Creative. – Rednek
Even the homie 12th Planet has shown support for the video, simply stating “That’s a sick video.”
Since implementing more electronic elements to his productions, EARBUTTER has been doing work in the studio and dropping fire on stage. His live turntable sets play to the crowd bringing anything from big room bangers to grimey dubstep that turns crowds hysterical.
When asked about his approach to production, EARBUTTER laid down a little bit of insight.
A lot of the trap music out there is really bland and cookie cutter. Almost like dudes are looping sound packs putting a simple 808 and pushing it out. Unique sounds, programming, and more flavor is something I’d like to see a lot more of any genre in all scenes.
With support from 12th Planet, Rednek, 6blocc, Cash Cash, and many more, EARBUTTER’s work is definitely being noticed. Keep your eyes peeled as he continues to dish out nasty productions.
