Last month, more than 70,000 dance music fans from near and far gathered at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino for Beyond Wonderland 2018. The highly anticipated event has been a fan-favorite in SoCal since 2010, and is known to be the start of festival season.

As we journeyed down the rabbit hole with thousands of other like-minded festie friends, we entered a psychedelic realm of wonderland, filled with all things peculiar and curious from the creatures, to the plant life, and activities, all came together nicely as neon lights and vibrant colors engulfed the venue.
Each day we were welcomed to let go of all things ordinary and be free to let our minds wander.
We were blessed with the presence of many wonderland characters, including; Alice, The Rose Queen, Tea Time Hatters, Formal Foxes, Chessters, and more. The variety of food vendors was sensational, anything you craved, they had, from Shake Ramen to Rainbow Grilled Cheese and Glitter Tots. The venue was filled with unique art installations and decorative elements that gracefully tied the whole event together.
The four themed stages and two art cars were booming with impeccable beats from many of the world’s top dance music artists.
Queen’s Domain, aka Main Stage, was an enclosed megastructure, with 623 LED panels and 12 confetti blasters, that spanned over two acres of dancing room for attendees to wiggle to the sounds of Oliver Heldens, Dash Berlin, Tiesto, Alesso, and many more.
Insomniac’s highly favored bass music brand, Bassrush, hosted the Mad Hatter’s Castle, featuring 200 lights and lasers hanging over the crowd and music from Kill The Noise, Andy C, Just a Gent, Mr. Carmack, Flosstradamus and more. Bassrush also hosted the Beyond Wench along with Cats & Boots.
Caterpillar’s Garden, the wonderfully funky tech-house oasis hosted the sounds of Chris Lake, Claptone, Born Dirty, Walker & Royce and more. Elsewhere, at Cheshire Woods, hosted by Insomniac Records, fans got down to the sounds of Bijou, Jack Beats, Redlight, Gammer and more. We also enjoyed the Wide Awake Art Car hosted by Space Yacht.
Some of our personal favorite sets included, Champagne Drip, Jax Jones, Electric Mantis, Zeke Beats, and Fisher.
Exclusively for VIP, headliners were able to enjoy their own entrance to the festival as well as a Kandi station, croquet games, interactive photo ops and a beauty bar presented by Gypsy Shrine.
The two day adventure was an exhilarating experience to say the least, we had the most amazing time and want to thank Insomniac, yet again, for the wonderful memories and exhausting (but worth it) wiggle seshs.
