Almost Nakey Rallied the Troops for Freedom Fest at the Beach House

BUMP  BUMP  BUMP! BUMP  BUMP  BUMP!

We can still hear the music wafting over the sea breeze as we walked down the boardwalk toward Belmont Park for Almost Nakey’s 3rd Annual Freedom Fest, an immersive event with an ocean back-drop. From the moment we stepped foot onto the festival grounds, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked. From the main stage to the silent disco, the decorations were everywhere. Red, white and blue flags hung all across the sandy dance floors as giant beach balls bounced through the crowd above it.

With a cabana section, VIP section, and food all right on the steps of Beach House SD Freedom Fest catered to everyone’s needs. VIPs had their own sound and vibe with a golden cowboy hat wall, free watermelon, and different bars to choose from. The cabana’s had service that brought out all the food and drinks you could want. While GA was crowded the sand was there to warm your toes and the music made waiting for drinks a breeze. The artists brought their A game and truly put on a show.

The sold out show featured artists like Ofier who went back to back with Oren, Lisbon Sisters, DJ Susan, and Goldfish.

Ofier and Oren delivered an unforgettable back-to-back set, seamlessly blending their distinct styles. Ofier captivated the crowd playing cords that you couldn’t help but groove too. The energy in the air was palpable as they took turns controlling the decks, keeping the crowd on their toes and dancing in the sand.

As the set progressed, Ofier seamlessly added his unique flavor to the mix. You could feel the duo’s chemistry, as if they communicated through the music, effortlessly exchanging control of the decks without missing a beat. Each artist brought their own distinct style to the table, blending seamlessly to create a fusion of sounds that melded genres and expectations.

The Lisbon Sisters proved why they were a force to be reckoned with, bringing an irresistible energy to the festival. Their infectious melodies and explosive stage presence had the entire crowd wrapped around their fingers. It was a testament to their ability to connect with the audience as the sea of people wove in and out of beach balls and tequila.

They understood the power of music to inspire emotion, to bring people together, and to create moments of absolute party. The crowd, mesmerized by the Lisbon Sisters’ magnetic charm and undeniable talent, partied hard and was sad to see their set come to a close.

As the sun began to set, DJ Susan took to the stage for a sunset set that had the crowd bumping and grooving from start to finish. With each track, DJ Susan skillfully built anticipation, teasing the crowd with familiar melodies and unexpected surprises.

The collective energy of the attendees reached its peak as the crowd sang along to their favorite tunes. The infectious beats and seamless transitions kept the energy levels high, creating an ambiance hard to match as the hues of the setting sun danced through the clouds.

And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, Goldfish took over the stage and unleashed his unique blend of electronic music infused with live saxophone. The crowd felt it and with the groove only a soulful sax can create. Goldfish’s ability to seamlessly fuse electronic elements with the raw emotion of live saxophone was a testament to his mastery as a musician. The saxophone, played with skill and passion, breathed a new dimension into the electronic soundscape.

As we walked away from Belmont Park, the echoes of the performances lingered in our minds, a reminder of why we all love music. Almost Nakey’s 3rd Annual Freedom Fest left its attendees wanting more but having to suffice until the next celebration of freedom.
