Nathan Barato – Music In The Sky [Desert Hearts]

Nathan Barato Desert Hearts

After building a strong rapport with the Desert Hearts camp through the years, a fitting next step for Nathan Barato would be a record on Desert Hearts Records. Such a moment has arrived, and the Canadian heavyweight has signed his first EP of 2020 to the label: ‘Music In The Sky’. ‘Music’ starts the record off on a positive note. M. Gaye’s vocals breathe soul into the mix and are its ultimate centerpiece.

Valdovinos – Grizzly [All Day I Dream]

All Day I Dream

All Day I Dream takes up rising Argentinian beatmaker Valdovinos for its latest releaseThose who’ve seen Lee Burridge recently will recognize ‘Grizzly’s’ title track—it’s been a peaktime set staple of the label boss for the better part of a year.

Valdovinos is known best for his label Kermesse, and residency of the same name at the renowned Frisky Radio.

Valdovinos is the most patient man on Earth. He’s been waiting for us to release his music for quite a while. Good job it’s not aged a day since we first heard it. We initially discovered him through his collaborations with another of our favourite, Facundo Mohrr. The Argentinian musical movement continues to inspire and excite us and this release gives us yet another reason to want to visit South America.” –ADID

Sage Armstrong ft. Pheezy420  – Fukitup [DIRTYBIRD]

Dirtybird Sage Armstrong

Longtime DIRTYBIRD friend Sage Armstrong has been welcomed onto the label’s 2020 roster with a resonant new single alongside Pheezy420 dubbed ‘Fukitup.’

“Consistently repping the bass and underground contingent of Dirtybird, Sage Armstrong has been a staple at Dirtybird events for years. Full of character and style, we always welcome Sage and his unique brand of house. We can’t believe that it’s been nearly four years since his last release on Dirtybird. In true Sage fashion, breaky subs with his own tripped out vocals and a hint of acid drive the funk-filled single, “Fukitup”.” –Dirtybird
