After delivering powerful foreshadowing through his Facebook page, Pretty Lights has dropped a bomb of a track along with dates for his Telluride 2016 shows.
I’m no longer satisfied making “music” to “release” on “albums”. Different is coming.
This bold statement left the PL family in a frenzy and was quickly followed up with a video recapping his inaugural standalone event in Telluride, Colorado last year. Titled “Only Yesterday“, the mini-documentary music video has a 1970’s cinematic feel, with grainy filters that show the PL fam’ representing in full force. This takes it back to the electro/hip hop/soul productions of Derek Vincent Smith’s past that we all came to love him for.
So quick to jump on the trigger after staking his claim, we are ecstatic at what prospects Pretty Lights has up his sleeve.
