9 Artists That Will Define Electric Zoo 2016

As eZoo approaches, fans of the music from many parts of the country are making their plans to attend. Here are a few of the artists that are set to bring their distinct sounds to the masses throughout Labor Day weekend at Electric Zoo 2016.

Illenium

Illenium plays a distinct kind of music, which is described on his Facebook page as “melodic” bass house. This Denver-based DJ has been rising through the ranks over the last year, culminating with his debut at Mysteryland 2016.

His track “Afterlife” has been working its magic on fans, and he will more than likely have a set filled with similarly captivating music at eZoo this year.

Zomboy

Zomboy is known for his hard-hitting dubstep tracks, and epic live sets. He has been bringing the energy to events like Sunset Music Festival 2016 and Electric Daisy Carnival 2016.

With original tracks like “Delirium” and dope remixes such as his rework of The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down”, we expect his eZoo set to go pretty hard.

Lane 8

Lane 8 doesn’t dabble in the main-stage sound, opting to offer up calmer, more soothing sounds to his crowds. His remix of ODESZA’s “Bloom” should make clear exactly how awesome the vibes during his set will be this year at eZoo.

Bassnectar

Bassnectar will definitely bring the noise to Electric Zoo 2016. If you are ready to headbang and hear some amazing music from the bass god himself, make sure you catch his set.

Porter Robinson

Porter Robinson creates music that is eclectic, and draws on an array of influences to do it.  His live sets are almost always accompanied by unique visuals that meld with the music to captivate his crowds.

With songs like “Divinity”, we expect Porter to do just that in September, at this summer music festival.

Headhunterz

Headhunterz had been releasing hardstyle bangers fairly often over the last few years. He has definitely grown to possess more main-stage appeal recently, with electro-house and big-room influencing his music.

Considering tracks like “Dharma”, which he worked with KSHMR to create, it’s clear that what he brings to the booth at eZoo will more than likely go hard.

3LAU

3LAU can go from his own melodic, progressive track “Alive Again” to classic Fall Out Boy in a matter of minutes. For that, it’s worth adding him to your schedule. 3LAU will undoubtedly create a memorable experience for his crowd at eZoo.

The Chainsmokers

It has been a long time coming for this DJ duo. After playing many other high-profile events such as EDC LV and Spring Awakening Music Festival, the act is more than capable of getting crowds moving.

With widespread success this year, The Chainsmokers will certainly bring their unique energy to the stage.

Ilan Bluestone

Ilan Bluestone is currently one of the many influential DJs in the trance scene. His powerful track “Bigger Than Love” is an uplifting trance gem, as are many of his original tracks.

Bluestone will certainly be a force to be reckoned with at this year’s festival.
