The 8th annual Purple Hatter’s Ball is taking place at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida from Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10 and it’s looking to be a barnburner. With an eclectic lineup that leans heavily toward the jam scene, yet still having an electronic flair, we can’t wait to check out this year’s rendition of the longstanding festival.

1. The Lineup
Featuring artists from the jam, electronic, and livetronic worlds, Purple Hatter’s Ball has a solid mix of both organic and electronic music. With acts ranging from Lotus and Nahko & Medicine for the People to Random Rab and The Malah, we’re absolutely psyched for what’s sure to be a raging good time.
2. Alex and Allyson Grey
The visionary art husband-and-wife team will be leading a workshop discussion at this year’s Purple Hatter’s Ball. If you’ve never checked out their work, please do, because you’re missing out!
3. Spirit of Suwannee Music Park
Consistently ranked as one of the top outdoor venues in the country, the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park is one of the most enchanting spots to witness quality music. With a plethora of amenities (on-site restaurant, showers, golf cart rentals, etc.) and insanely beautiful setting it’s no wonder why Suwannee is one of the most coveted venues in the U.S.
4. Other Activities
Kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, bike rentals, disc golf, etc. Suwannee is an outdoor fanatics paradise. Outside of everything else that’s taking place over the weekend, make sure to set aside some time to relax and explore the grounds.
