The timeless adage of ‘everything’s bigger in Texas’ has been proven right yet again.
After the phase 3 lineup announcement for this year’s Euphoria Festival, one can see event organizers are planning to do it up bigger than ever 2015’s rendition of the festival – bringing in big names from all corners of the EDM stratosphere.
So who’s coming out to party with the Euphoria tribe?
Pretty Lights, Ghostland Observatory, Adventure Club, RL Grime, and Big Gigantic are among the names that barely scratch the surface of talent coming Euphoria this year.
The entire lineup is straight up bonkers but there are some rarities on this year’s bill that should definitely be taken note of.
Check out these 3 can’t miss performances at Euphoria Music Festival.
The New Deal
Since 2014 the New Deal is back and rockin’ it with a new drummer. After their two-year hiatus, it’s great to see these Canadian groove-monsters back on the bill. They will tear the place down.
If their new drummer is anything like the previous one, be prepared for some of the craziest talent behind the kid that you’ll ever see.
Thievery Corporation with Special Guests
‘Nuff said. These guys are rarely, if ever, found on major festival bills (outside of a few dates, surprisingly, this summer). Touring sporadically at best, Thievery is an all-inclusive hodgepodge of musicians that will get the crowd grooving like the best of ‘em.
If you’re into downtempo or hip-hop, even in the slightest, don’t miss Thievery’s set. These guys are legends.
EOTO and Friends
And Friends!? EOTO, known for their all-improv, one-of-a-kind sets, is bringing some new people to the mix? Just thinking about the surprises that Michael Travis and Jason Hann have in store for Euphoria is like chocolate cake for the brain.
Get ready for a never-before-heard set that will surely be one for the record books.
These 3 rarities, in addition to all of the other acts on the bill, are sure to set Euphoria 2015 off with a bang.
The festivities are shaping up to be insane, no doubt, but this list definitely contains a few of the performances you will not want to miss at Euphoria this year.
Who knows; With multiple special guest sets, maybe more artists will invite friends on stage throughout the weekend, blending styles as it turns into one big jam party.
Expect the unexpected when it comes to this year’s version of Euphoria. In addition to the tunes, festival organizers are offering many other activities including art curated by Art Seen Alliance, yoga workshops, basic DJ’ing workshops and more. They have also teamed up with a local organic farm to provide fresh, organic, veggies at wholesale prices.
Now is the time to buy your tickets, catch some music, eat some good food, and feel good all weekend long.
