French electronic music composer Uppermost released his new album titled, ‘Evolution’.  This is his fifth studio album. Listed in order form first to last, they are ‘Action’, ‘Polis’, ‘One’, ‘Control’, and ‘Evolution’. All of these albums were released on his record label Uppwind Records.

But first – a little backstory. Uppermost has been on the scene since he was seventeen, remixing tracks from Daft Punk, Burial, and more. He has had multiple hits high on the charts, such as his song, ‘Equivocal’, and his ‘Biscuit Factory’ EP. He has delved in multiple EDM genres not limited to electro house, progressive house, and dubstep.

His previous aliases were Downed and Alonely before he finally settled for his current name, Uppermost.

Now, about the new album.

Evolution is a gem. Each of the ten tracks, are jam packed from start to finish with beats that are sure to have bopping your head to the beat and perhaps even putting on an impromptu dance show. Included on the album is ‘Breaking Time’. The music video was  released on April 8th featuring some pretty cool parkour moves mixed with a variety of interesting footage and images that will have you captivated for its entirety.

Uppermost never disappoints, and this album is a pleasure.
