Listen to Trvlr’s Tomorrow, When We Began Album:
The album, Tomorrow, When We Began, is really about a vulnerable time in my and Jack’s life. When we sat down to make this album, there was no goal in mind, no path. We just thought that our emotions would guide us. We claimed to do this just for fun but were our souls doing it for the same purpose? We were about halfway done with the album before the curtain came off our eyes and Jack and I saw our mind’s true intentions of this album really was. Tomorrow, When We Began, is about lost love and the hope for finding peace within that sorrow. Too many times in life we are faced with “the one who got away” or “The one I fell in love with” fading into nothing. Everyone knows the emotion this creates yet there is no word for it. Our album tries to convey the start of a relationship and in the end, for better or for worse, the loved one leaves and the lover stays behind. The album title, Tomorrow, When We Began, explains that when we do fall in love, we aren’t worried about tomorrow. But tomorrow will always come and they might not be there anymore. We think about all the memories that are drowned with love now in question if those memories are real. That said, Tomorrow, When We Began, focuses on the future and the past. The beauty and the destruction that love has on our soul and the actions we take to cope with the loss of love. – Lexton Bunting
