Musical milestones and undiscovered gems; that’s what this year’s Tomorrowland is all about.
The festival will be held on two weekends, July 21st-23rd and July 28th-30th, and promises unexpected premieres, legendary revivals and classic names. The theme, ‘Amicorum Spectaculum‘, which literally means “gathering friends and artists at unique times in exceptional settings”, surrounds this year’s festival and plans to reveal more magical secrets over the next few months.
As part of the festival’s major announcements, the hosts for 2017 encompass everything from newcomers to industry legends.
Tomorrowland just annouced phase one of their 2017 lineup, check it out below:
Creating tons of buzz, new kids on the block elrow and Ants will be hosting their own stages. elrow will be bringing house and techno confetti storms both Fridays and Ants will be bringing its successful concepts from Ushuaia, Ibiza to Boom.
Up-and-comers and all-time favorites Monstercat, Spinnin’ Records, All Day I Dream, PLAYDifferently (via Richie Hawtin), The Masquerade (via Claptone) and hometown hero Netsky will all be bringing special guests and friends to their respective stages they are hosting during each weekend. Furthermore, under his label STMPD RCRDS, Martin Garrix will host a stage for the first time at Tomorrowland.
Meanwhile, I Love Techno returns after a few years absence, as well as Trance Energy. Other trance legends Aly & Fila‘s Future Sound of Egypt and Trance Addict and Armin van Buuren‘s A State of Trance will be throwing a trance party at Tomorrowland like never before.

A festival wouldn’t be a festival without its regulars.
Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike will have two days of Smash The House at the festival, as well as Generation Smash, which plans to introduce the stars of tomorrow.
Oliver Heldens will host a Heldeep stage, Sebastian Ingrosso will bring Refune and Afrojack with Jacked. House vibes will be coming from Axwell‘s Axtone stage and Mark Knight brings the tech-house from his Toolroom stage.
Other stages traditionally showcased will be Eric Prydz‘s Pryda, Adam Beyer‘s Drumcode, Steve Aoki‘s Dim Mak, Laidback Luke‘s Super You & Me, Yellowclaw‘s Barong Family and Martin Solveig‘s My House.
In addition, the label Bonzai will be returning for it’s 25th for the 2017 festival. Other Belgian families that will have a strong presence at the festival will be I Love The 90‘s and Age of Love. To round off the diverse array of electronic music, there will also be stages for hardstyle and drum and bass.
