TOKiMONSTA has been on a sort of renaissance with herself as she continues to release exciting new music in 2016. Since she started up her new record label Young Art Records in 2014, she has been a creative machine.
Recently having finished her vibrant EP “FOVERE”, TOKiMONSTA has posted her own remix she does off her single “Steal My Attention” from the EP Desiderium.
“Steal My Attention” is the easy going groove that makes it perfect for a drive with the windows down.
Instead is a stronger pulse, more driven to highlight the percussiveness of the vocals. What you get, is a more aggressive track made for the live setting as the vocals are pushed to the forefront with a broader percussion background.
This is a dancier version that is made for the night; TOKiMONSTA sets the groove right to make you want to move and dance away.
Throughout the song, you get elements of the old version gently dispersed underneath the vocals. Still present is the slinky, wobbly bass line that lurks in a triplet groove, and even the bubbly synth stabs.
Distinctly connected to the original, but enough variation to re-peak the listener into a new favorite track by TOKiMONSTA.
