The Soulestial Carnival Continues Throughout LA and into The Darkside

Following the Capriaquarius Ball, The Soulestial Carnival continued a couple weeks later at Pattern Bar with the one and only, the Founder of Temple LA, Ray Kash, alongside the beloved Aura and Josh Kwon.

Soulestial Carnival holds a monthly residency at Pattern Bar in Downtown LA providing an appreciated relief from the weekly grind with an intimate vibe and never a dull moment of the dance floor.

This edition, Ray Kash showed his experience from mixing sessions for some of the most revered collectives such as Deep House LA, Music is 4 Lovers, Deep House Tehran and Crescendoll‘s Wulpack Records’ Wulcast.  If you missed him this time, keep an eye out for Ray Kash’s Temple Tuesdays that pulls in the best LA talent.

Although having mid-terms for his Doctoral program the next morning, Josh Kwon kept giving “the gift of maximum uplift” with a zen-like and cutting-edge selection of house and techno leaving no doubt that this project has seriously fun potential.

The LA native has played Avalon, The Union, Spin San Diego, Sutra, Mansion Costa Mesa, and has appeared on festival lineups including Leyenda Eterna, Love Long Beach, Teleport Art Car Festival, Off the Grid Festival, and The Gathering.

While most recently Josh Kwon was added to this year’s Lightning in a Bottle.

Software Engineer and rising artist, Aura, shares her intentions behind her deep and rich set for Soulestial Carnival, “the natural state of love is to surrender.”  Aura is staying booked, you will be available to find her spinning in Laguna Beach for a day festival this weekend, throughout California the rest of the month and on BLOND:ISH’s Abracadabra TV, March 23.

Staying on beat, March 15 brings a Soulestial All Night affair with no-filler sets from label residents: Contessa, Shamiran and RAHA (Live).

Then that following weekend the Soulestial Carnival presents, The Darkside, a carefully-curated warehouse rave with Los Angeles’ psy-tech and dark techno pillar, Shadow Wulf Records.
