Though there are still more than four weeks until Euphoria Music Festival returns to Carson Creek Ranch just outside Austin, Texas for the fourth year, the road to Euphoria has already begun.
Leading up to the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) music showcase, festival organizers partnered with mobile music application Jamfeed for an unofficial SXSW event that foreshadows a special weekend in store at the beginning of April.
Taking over the Lanai Rooftop Lounge on the south side of Austin amid the biggest music, technology, and film conference of its kind, The Road to Euphoria kicked off a trifecta of weekly events that are capped off with the official Air Up There SXSW event. Presented by event company Banjos to Beats and Gravitas Recordings, Air Up There will feature showcases from Black Tiger Sex Machine, Illenium, Lindsay Lowend and numerous special guests as part of South by Southwest’s most intriguing EDM events.
Having recently replaced Porter Robinson with Big Gigantic and Tritonal, the hype continues to build around the Texas EDM festival that already features the likes Pretty Lights, Adventure Club, STS9, Thomas Jack and dozens of supremely talented DJs and producers.
The Road to Euphoria Music Festival has officially begun.
The Monday night event ushered in an era that will witness Euphoria take its production to the next level.
A look deeper into the lineup reveals a crop of local talent and up-and-coming artists that put their tunes to the test for a packed venue on March 16. Texas trap master Riot Ten shook the rooftop before passing it off Archnemesis who concocted a hip hop infused electro set before Pusher and Tasty Treat threw down until the closing bells.
