This past weekend PromoWest Productions hosted their annual Bunbury Music Festival in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio to celebrate 34 years in the business. Bunbury Music Festival is an event we all anticipate on going to for many reasons such as the captivating environment, enticing lineup and endless opportunities. Akin to years prior, the festivities took place at Sawyer Point Park; this is a prime location offering a scenic view of the glistening Ohio River, as well as sparking night life merely blocks away.
Although my eyes shed a tear once Blink-182 cancelled, due to ‘Unforeseen Circumstances’, there was still hope for Friday’s lineup.
Via laptop we are giving Reo Cragun, Bishop Briggs and Young The Giant a round applause. Despite the humidity kicking all our a**’s, The Chainsmokers delivered the set I was hoping. Mad props to the mystery drummer going at it with the drumsticks caught on fire!

The sun was bright for Saturday’s lineup. Griz is always a pleasure and Incubus brought back some serious flashes from the past. I jammed out hard to Foster The People’s ‘Pumped Up Kicks’, while wearing kicks and not many can say that.
Sunday was the money maker for the festival. Back to back Jack White and Post Malone says it all. For the amount of times I sang ‘Psycho’ in my car, it was refreshing singing it with the artist himself.

Bunbury Music Festival 2018 was one for the books and every aspect of the event was warming. I am excited for alluring lineup for next year.
