Rae is a unique dance industry combination of singer-songwriter, DJ, remixer and producer based between London and Ibiza. She started gaining momentum in her music career with a bouncy house track created with DJ S.K.T, called ‘Take Me Away‘.
Ever since she has been driving a quality house agenda, largely under Defected Records. Her debut release was as a lead vocalist with Kings Of Tomorrow for the 2008 anthem ‘Can’t Stop’. Then she became the first female artist to compile and mix the famous Defected In The House compilation.
Later Rae went on to release one tasty house track after the other such as, ‘Not Gonna Love You’ with Nathan Dalton and ‘Sirens’ with Danism. Also in 2016, Rae released ‘Groove On’ on Spinnin’ Deep alongside Siege, followed by the massive ‘Harmony’ on Danny Howard’s label, Nothing Else Matters.
In turn, these singles have cemented her status as a female house music artist to be reckoned with.
To end 2016 strong, Rae collaborated with UK house duo Mandal & Forbes on ‘That Feeling’, which immediately made a huge splash on the dance-floors and went to Top 20 in the Beatport House charts.
Mandal & Forbes are fast becoming one of the hottest UK duos in house music. The duo have played together for 10 years and have held residencies worldwide including Ibiza, Marbella and Dubai, with their own yearly sell-out event, ‘Sin Sundays’, hosted in Ibiza’s famous Ocean Club.
In February 2017, Rae released her VIP mix of ‘That Feeling’ which is already shaping up to be another house music hit.
Rae’s VIP Mix on Get Twisted Records, strips back the piano house of the original, making it darker and sexier for the peak time dance-floor, but still featuring Rae’s powerful vocals and sharp production.
