Summer Camp Music Festival has announced its’ 2014 lineup for the annual festival held in Chillicothe, Illinois on Memorial Day Weekend from May 23-25. Returning for its 14th year, the festival features an eclectic mixture of electronic dance music, bluegrass, some good ol’ school funky funk, jam bands, country music, and more.
Summer Camp Music Festival Offers Something for Everyone
With over 100 performances on 7 stages in 3 days, the festival has evolved quite a bit since the initial gathering in 2001. Blossoming from 1,000 to over 15,000 fans, Summer Camp maintains the original ethos that has guided the festival for over a decade. The festival also has numerous community initiatives and is considered a green festival. Attendees have the opportunity to volunteer for the Summer Camp Green Team, participate in Community Field Day, or get involved with the Camp Counselor Program.
This years festival will feature Bassnectar, Lotus, Gramatik, Wolfgang Gartner, Mimosa, Beats Antique, Future Rock, Bro Safari, and one of thatDROP.com’s 5 EDM Artists to Watch in 2014, heRobust.
Past performances include Pretty Lights, STS9, Zeds Dead, Big Gigantic, Diplo, Paper Diamond, Griz, Conspirator, Minnesota, Shpongle, 12th Planet, Girl Talk, Skrillex, Mimosa, The Polish Ambassador, and more.
