After a couple days of pool parties and the nightclub experience during Miami Music Week you may want to switch it up a bit by attending the Rapture Electronic Music Festival. As an alternative to the South Beach and downtown Miami events, gather on a private beach with four stages stacked with a savvy underground techno and house lineup.
Headlining the inaugural Rapture Electronic Music Festival will be andhim, Art Department, Carl Craig, Ellen Allien, and RPR Soundsystem.
From noon to 2am on Thursday, March 23rd, you can be submersed into a festival experience with money music, a floating lounge, a shakedown street, food trucks, and those festival vibes on the idyllic and protected environmental oasis of the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.
Also, just announced to the lineup is Steve Lawler, Ellen Allien and Fur Coat who will helm the Rapture Main Stage. More artists are still to be announced.
To add to the beauty of this day will be the Global party brand, Flying Circus, who will be hosting a stage powered by Secret Garden’s elaborate decor and immersive experience with techno pioneers Carl Craig, Art Department, Audiofly, Matthew Dear and Francesca Lombardo.

To break this festival down even further to help you know where your music of favor will lie, let’s check out who will be hosting each stage. The UN_MUTE Stage will feature the minimal sounds of techno with highly sought-after Romanian trio RPR Soundsystem , tINI and more.
The Castaway Stage will represent the progressive side of house with Argentinean legend Hernan Cattaneo, a highly anticipated Way Out West reunion with Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff, and Guy J.

To pull Rapture Electronic Music Festival together, attendees will be able to get energized at an organic juice bar, receive blissful body massages, and rejuvenate with Ayurveda therapy.
At only 40 dollars for this rapture experience and it being only 15 minutes away from downtown Miami, I wonder if anyone will be at the pool parties on Thursday… Remember, the pools and clubs will be there when you get back from the beach too. A lot of parties are happening until 5 or 6 am.
