It seemed like yesterday, but it has been over three months since the EDM world was shocked by the loss of Avicci. Since that time, hundreds of tributes to the iconic DJ have been performed at festivals around the world. Russian DJ ARTY is the latest to pay his respect, dropping a heartfelt song simply called “Tim“. If you were expecting a dark, ominous tone to this track you would be completely wrong. “Tim” instead focuses on the upbeat style we had come to love from Avicci, bringing us on a euphoric energy trip from start to finish.
It is a song you can dance too, smile too and reflect on the memories you have of the legend of Tim Bergling.
Most importantly, the words “You Are Loved” are expressed. Avicci was loved by his family, friends and his fans throughout the world. Everyone was touched by his music that will live on forever. His spirit will be at every festival, house show and in every car radio for the rest of time.
Avicci’s personal demons are well documented, but the song should be a reminder that even in the darkest of moments somebody loves you. Reaching out for help is always okay.
