Ron Carroll, the man doing the vocals that top producers like Hot Since 82 want to sample, is also known as the Ministry of Sound, a moniker that truly captures his intentions. Today Carroll emerges with ‘Lost’ as a Carrillo Music Group release that showcases more of the family: Kardano, Rux and Soleil Carrillo with their takes. The collection sits Ron’s vocals in the right pocket, giving us versions to adjust to any room as he once again hits with a message the dance floor cherishes.
Lately Ron Carroll has been behind events at the heart of Chicago’s house music scene, such as Category One‘s vinyl-only events during ARC Music Festival weekend, on the rooftop at Masada and at Summer’s Last Dance festival.

We found his selection for Category One to dive into some of the names on his radar, and outside of his soulful house chart-toppers with Carroll Music Group, head over to Defected, Glitterbox and Spinnin’ for more big tracks.
Well knowing Carroll’s background now we see how the Carrillo Music squad producing the records are some real ones. While listening to Kardano‘s peak-time edit, discover more about Vancouver’s scene through the Denizen and Soma Music Hub events he plays, and why his collection has been picked up by heavyweights like Nicole Moudaber.
Inspired by his music being released on relevant labels such as DJ Lenny Fontana‘s Karmic Power Records, Play Records, and Stereophonic, and a legendary performance at Destino Pacha Ibiza, Kardano has launched Fusion Groove Recordings on which he recently released a daft-punk’d disco banger, ‘The Way You Look’. Now let’s see how SoundCloud’s ANT’s Next GEN 2025 Artist Program projects his path.
For Rux’s take you can hear how she is drawing inspiration from Romania’s underground spirit, channeling its blend of intimacy, groove, and forward-thinking sound. Find raves in Romania such as UNTOLD and Neversea and the moment to transport yourself to the Black Sea and get ‘Lost’ with Rux. With glowing unreleased work and a strong presence in the booth, Rux represents a new generation of Romanian minimal tech.
Out of Victoria, Canada, Soleil Carrillo brings his joyful Panamanian spirit to the collection. As a resident DJ of an essential spot in his hometown Upstairs and for Terri B‘s global The Housecrunch Radio Show, Soleil is buzzing from his recent collaborations with Ron and from the quest itself.
Now go treat yourself by finding Soleil, Kardano and Ron Carroll live during Amsterdam Dance Event for DJ Max’s Welcome to the Club 29th Anniversary.
