OHM Collective Activates with the Russian Spirit, Rapossa

In the confluence of organic soundscapes and spiritual awakening, Gobi Desert Collective and Ampermut have manifested OHM Collective—a visionary imprint dedicated to curating the most profound expressions of organic house and downtempo music from across the globe. This inaugural venture transcends conventional label paradigms, positioning itself as a sacred vessel for transformative sonic experiences that honor both ancient wisdom and contemporary electronic artistry.

Alongside the Gobi Desert Collective The collective’s debut release, ‘Roadless Travel’, showcases the mystical artistry of Rapossa, the celebrated Russian producer whose spiritual approach to electronic music has captivated audiences at intimate festivals and coveted venues.

‘Roadless Travel’ embodies the essence of OHM’s mission: to provide you with the greatest new organic house, downtempo and tribal influenced house music from all around our colorful world. The track’s Buddhist flute influences and ceremonial downtempo qualities create a sonic mandala, guiding listeners from chaos to stillness—a journey mirroring Shiva’s eternal dance of creation and destruction. As the primordial vibration Om (ॐ) represents the universe’s fundamental frequency, OHM Collective emerges as its electronic interpretation, touching “the spine of the universe” through carefully curated releases that dissolve barriers between the terrestrial and transcendent.

Since launching his career in 2017, Rapossa has become synonymous with transcendent performances that merge shamanic elements with cutting-edge production. His multifaceted approach, refined through years of spiritual exploration and the establishment of his LOSTCOLOR imprint in 2019, infuses each composition with metaphysical resonance that guides listeners through authentic spiritual revitalization.

Gobi Desert Collective, the Antwerp-based tastemaking duo Sam and Jens, have established themselves as influential curators in the organic house and downtempo sphere. Drawing inspiration from the vast, primordial expanses of their namesake desert—where only three souls inhabit each square mile—they have become scene-setting forces through their releases on prestigious labels including Cafe De Anatolia, Art Lives Music, Elevated Records, WAYU Records, and Alpas Records. Their side project Alpas explores gorgeous synth-driven, melodic house territories, showcasing vibes that feed the dance floor through sunrise.

Ampermut, the Bavarian behind this collaborative vision, brings over a decade of artistic evolution to OHM Collective. Raised in the harsh yet stunning Alpine winters, his musical journey spans from acoustic pop to techno. His extensive discography across labels such as Cafe de Anatolia, Suprematic SoundsArtist Intelligence Agency, and Chemical Energy showcases his remarkable versatility and commitment to celebrating the human experience through sound. Enjoy his solo effort for the sophomore release from the OHM Collective, ‘Not Just a Mango’.
