While we have mad love and the utmost of PLUR for our music festival family, there are just some behaviors that are difficult to overlook.
While this video is a humorous, almost satirical, look at the folks that make up music festivals, some of these generalizations are undeniably on point.
Nonetheless, you can’t help but see the humor in it, so just take it for what it is worth.
You definitely do not want to be “that guy” at your next EDM festival.
Here is a list of what not to do once you strap on your dancin’ boots:
- Stop staring at your phone!
- Avoid the “pharmacists.” You never know what you might be taking!
- Quit PDA’ing
- Don’t be a music snob
- Don’t be a festival snob
- Avoid the creepy old guy following you and your friends around
- And your drunk, fratty friends
- Be yourself and don’t try too hard
- When it’s over, leave the festival behind. There’s always next year!
