These musical marvels are specially tailored for our thriving EDM community providing a release from the ordinary and an entrance into a revolution of sound.
Through these awe-inspiring events we’re able to witness beauty and unique emotions that are foreign to every day, conventional society. Keeping with tradition, we eat, sleep, rave, repeat. We savor every second and embrace the euphoria surrounding our electronic universe.
In doing so we often become spellbound by the siren of electronic dance music and forget our common courtesies.
So without further adieu, this is our Public Service Announcement for music festival etiquette:
Properly dispose of garbage
Reduce, reuse and recycle. Prevent our neon kingdom from turning into a wasteland of trash and clutter.
Embrace the strange
Take full advantage of this opportunity to leave your comfort zone. Shed any fears holding you back and just get weird.
Treat the staff with respect
These hard working individuals are behind the scenes making the experience something special for all of us, so be thankful for their efforts.
Know your limits
Pay attention to what your body is telling you. Realize when it’s time to go home or when your friends have had enough. Be safe, always.
Guys – continue being gentlemen
Open doors, compliment, smile and ask before invading someone’s space.
Ladies – continue being delightful
Enjoy yourselves, dance like no one is watching and live for right now.
Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect
Love one another. This is a judge free zone where friendships blossom and imagination runs wild. Spread the PLUR.
Help out a fellow raver
Share some extra water, keep an eye out for bad situations, show a newbie the ropes and shuffle with those too afraid to bust a move.
Check the forecast
Bring blankets or lather up with sun screen. Know what the weather is going to be like and pack accordingly.
Stop to smell the flowers
Take a break from the crowds and appreciate the allure of everything around you. From the charms of Mother Nature to the extravagance of the stages, celebrate your surroundings and treasure these moments.
Save your worries for tomorrow
This is your chance to escape, to relish in freedom and to become part of a progressing movement for unity and acceptance. Admire the thousands of beautiful people indulging in a state of pure bliss, join them and find your heart among the audience of positive souls.
Positively contributing to the music festival environment will make the experience more enjoyable for everyone involved.
