Montmartre Stirs House with Indie-Pop for Remix of Tim Ayre’s ‘Mexican Holiday’

Fêted French producer Montmartre is pleased to announce a brand new remix for Australian indie-pop artist Tim Ayre‘s recent track ‘Mexican Holiday’, released 8th December through Kitsuné Musique

Montmartre says, “I wanted to bring my punchy and sunny sound to the voice of Tim Ayre with an electro pop vision of the track that brings back the summer. It gives a cocktail of freshness that makes us relive those good times by the pool and sway on this beat that recalls those vacations.”

Adding a breezy, understated feel-good element to Tim’s upbeat production,  pays homage to his French house heritage, breathing new life into the original. This is a special track for those indie folk and house music lovers alike.

Producer and musician, the unique French-touch of Montmartre was born in a small studio in the Parisian neighborhood of the same name. First noticed in the remix world, beginning with unofficial tracks for Adele and Daft Punk, followed by more official requests from Asgeir, London Grammar, The Kooks and Bob Marley. ‘Is This Love’, a remix of the reggae classic gained rapid success with over 120,000,000 online streams to date.

A first album, Hope, followed soon after, a bright and eclectic musical experience with original vocals and compositions. During a period of silence, Montmartre produced the first album for electro-french group Bon Entendeur, Aller-Retour, achieving gold in 2020. Now, Montmartre’s comeback is near with fresh remixes and a second album of brand new sounds on the way.
