This weekend, Love Long Beach Festival 2023 is bringing together the family to keep the Southern California underground scene vibrant all summer long with music, yoga, comedy, sound healing, art and more.
For their 8th installment located at the Shore Line Aquatic Park, LLB pulls artists from labels such as Desert Hearts, All Day I Dream, Crosstown Rebels, Defected, 6am, Music is 4 Lovers and Soulestial Carnival Records who are set to deliver music at the forefront of progressive house, deep house, deep tech, tech house, disco, techno, jungle and beyond. While the Stargate Stage will host down to earth live music and performances.
The Love Long Beach Festival is a magical collaboration as Alfredo’s Beach Club is handling the main event, infrastructure, and delicious food and beverages, while Subtract Music takes charge of the music lineup across 3 stages and the Healing Arts Village is in the hands of the Long Beach Light Tribe, all fully endorsed and permitted by the City of Long Beach.
Based in Los Angeles, California, Subtract Music is more than just a record label—it’s an event production and artist collective that has been making waves in the underground electronic music scene since its establishment in 2011. Founded by Anton Tumas and a group of like-minded friends who shared a passion for underground electronic music, their aim was to create a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talent. Their debut release, “Black Rock City,” featuring DAVÍ with remixes from renowned artists, garnered significant attention within the electronic music community.
With a diverse range of releases, spanning from deep house to techno and beyond, Subtract Music has secured remixes from heavyweight artists like John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Stimming, and more. They’re not just confined to the studio; the label hosts successful events both in Los Angeles and beyond, featuring live performances from established and emerging artists.
