The nominees for the 29th Annual International Dance Music Awards have been announced with Avicii (11), Armin Van Buuren(9), and Hardwell(6) leading the way.
Hardwell Receives 6 Nominations
The DJmag.com number 1 DJ Hardwell has been nominated for six categories at the annual event held during the Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach. The nominations include:
- Best Electro / Progressive House Track – Apollo ft. Amba Shepherd
- Best Global DJ
- Best Progressive House / Electro DJ
- Best Podcast or Radio Mixshow DJ – Hardwell on Air
- Best Featured Vocalist Performance – Apollo ft. Amba Shepherd
- Best Producer
Avicii and Armin both received nods for categories including ‘Best Global DJ,’ Best Podcast or Radio Mixshow DJ,’ and ‘Best Solo Artist.’ Other nominees include Zedd (6), Kaskade (5), and Martin Garrix (3).
The awards are set to take place Thursday, March 27 leading up to the world famous Ultra Music Festival. Voting is now open on the WMC Website.
