From seeing how happy Denis Sulta was performing in LA for the first time as the crowd gave him the royal rave treatment when the dance floor quickly flooded once he hit the decks, Odd Mob owning the massive HARD stage, NALA pushing the gas pedal on vibe, Hayden James delivering the heat and Kaskade B2B John Summit offering a highly-sought-after blend to a decadent Ludacris pool party, Blanke’s timely melodic dubstep, Black Coffee’s exotically curated takeover, bicep’s extremely well-prepared live set, the latest drops from Peekaboo and of course Skrillex B2B Four Tet throwing down a set that continues to progress their image as well as so much more, HARD Summer 2023 made memories for a lifetime.
For Angelenos, HARD being at the Memorial Coliseum was like have a luxury festival in your background, especially if you live right off the metro. Insomniac and the festival curators really pulled out all the stops, LED panels to direct the ground, basically a sign for everything and world-class stage production across two stadiums and throughout Expo Park.
The layout was open, it was breezy being able to walk casually through the entrance of the coliseum and then pop over to the other stages without much effort at all. We got the photos that encapsulates HARD Summer 2023 forever and ever thanks to a collaborative effort from our in-house photographer, Visuals by G and Insomniac’s esteemed media team.
