In the recently released video, “EDC20: The Spirit, Energy & Experience”, Pasquale Rotella reflects on the last two decades of Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, delivering a heart-felt message about the powerful impact music had on his life–becoming a catalyst for what would eventually be the EDC we know today.
It all began with a life changing experience at a Los Angeles underground party, but, clearly it didn’t end there
Electric Daisy Carnival is scheduled to return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 17 – 19 for its 20thanniversary. The video offers us a fly-on-the-wall look into the culture, beautiful sense of community and driving inspirations behind North America’s largest festival of the year.
“My job and my passion is to create an environment that is safe and magical. For people to gather and express themselves,” says Rotella. “All year round, people wait for this event. And the energy builds, and it builds and it builds….We call our attendees headliners. Why? Because they’re the most important piece for this event coming together and being all it can be.”
This year, Insomniac gives us “20 Years Under the Electric Sky,” a celebration of EDC’s two decades of existence in Las Vegas.
