ILLENIUM Closes Out His Sphere Residency With Three Final ODYSSEY Shows

ILLENIUM’s era‑defining ODYSSEY residency at the Sphere is approaching its final chapter. After a historic run, the multi‑platinum artist returns for the last three performances on April 2, 3, and 4 — each night featuring a different special guest and arriving just as his new album ODYSSEY continues to shape the sound of 2026.

The residency has been a landmark moment for ILLENIUM. His sixth studio album, ODYSSEY, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart. It’s already produced a wave of standout tracks. From the soaring emotional release of “Other Side” to the cinematic tension of “Eyes Wide Shut.” These songs have become anchors in his recent festival sets.

Developed in collaboration with Berlin‑based animation studio Woodblock, ODYSSEY is more than a concert — it’s an entire universe. The show follows two female warriors on a mythic journey of self‑acceptance and reunion, mirroring ILLENIUM’s own personal evolution. Woodblock, known for its work on Anyma’s 2024 Sphere residency, co‑wrote and co‑directed the visual experience. They call it a “Neo‑Space Opera” built specifically for Sphere’s 12K media plane.

The production pipeline behind ODYSSEY is as ambitious as the story itself. Using Universal Scene Description and Houdini Solaris, Woodblock created a high‑fidelity CG world that merges film‑grade visuals with the kinetic energy of a rave. The Third Floor — Hollywood’s leading studio — helped map out the show’s largest narrative sequences, ensuring every moment lands with cinematic precision.

As the residency enters its final stretch, ILLENIUM is simultaneously gearing up for a major run of 2026 tour dates. The ODYSSEY universe is off to festivals and arenas across North America and Europe. Fans can expect a blend of new album material and reimagined classics.

But before the tour begins, Sphere will host three final nights. Each to bring its own distinct energy and a supporting artist whose recent releases are shaping the current moment in bass music. Sample some music head of the last weekend and enjoy our photo tour rom the first few weekends of ILLENIUM’s Sphere run…

April 2 — SLANDER

SLANDER arrives at Sphere fresh off a string of emotionally charged releases that have reaffirmed their place at the center of melodic bass. Their recent single “Do You Feel Loved” sets the tone for a deeply emotional opening night.

April 3 — DJ Diesel

DJ Diesel has been on a tear, dropping heavy‑hitting dubstep collaborations and high‑energy singles that have become staples in the heavier corners of the scene. His recent releases lean into chaotic, crowd‑shaking bass — the kind of sound that has turned his festival sets into viral spectacles. Of course they do though, who doesn’t love Shaq? Diesel’s appearance on April 3 injects a jolt of raw power into the residency’s penultimate night. Here he is live from Elements Music Festival.

April 4 — Tape B

Tape B closes out the residency with the momentum of one of bass music’s fastest‑rising careers. His recent releases — a blend of nostalgic sample work, modern low‑end design, and throwback rave textures — have earned him a cult‑level following. On top of his legendary remixes including “Flip it”, “Loud” and “Gas Pedal” tracks from his latest EPs have been circulating heavily in DJ sets across the country. This Sphere appearance marks a milestone moment for the producer’s ascent.

With these final three shows, ILLENIUM is closing the book on one of the most ambitious electronic music productions ever staged. ODYSSEY has pushed the boundaries of what a live show can be. It has merged film, animation, storytelling, and dance music into a single communal experience.

For fans, April 2–4 is the last chance to witness the full cinematic universe as it was designed. Get inside the Sphere, on a scale that may not be replicated again. Get your tickets on Ticketmaster, while they’re still on sale!
