Whet Travel’s flagship event Groove Cruise will celebrate its 21st year on the open sea in 2025, adventuring from Miami to the idyllic coast of Labadee, Haiti from Thursday, January 23 – Monday, January 27, 2025. Groove Cruise Miami 2025 will be hosted on the award-winning Allure of the Seas – a member of the largest cruise ship class in the world.

Over the last two decades, Groove Cruise has remained the world’s “premier floating dance music festival.” Since its inception in 2004, Groove Cruise has grown to become the largest music cruise event in history. The leading nautical festival brand is famous for championing creative self-expression and curating inclusive environments that welcome attendees to follow their inner compasses toward adventure. Groove Cruise’s central ethos is all about finding your own individual flow, while simultaneously connecting with fellow passengers for a tight-knit, community-oriented experience.

Sailing from Miami, Florida on Thursday, January 23, 2025, Groove Cruiseinvites past Captains and newcomers alike to indulge in a once-in-a-lifetime experience aboard Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas. The sailing will feature 96 hours of nonstop music, as well as Groove Cruise’s signature immersive programming which will include 11 stages with world-class production, globally renowned artists, daily themes with dedicated parties, artist-hosted activities, beachside destination parties, the Whet Foundationvolunteer experience, mental health panels, and so much more.

Awarded Best Large Cruise Ship by GOLD Travvy Awards, Best For Entertainment by Cruisers’ Choice Awards, and Best Individual Cruise Shipby Readers’ Choice Awards, Allure of the Seas will be the largest and most innovative Groove Cruise ship to date and will be the biggest music cruise in history. Allure of the Seas is part of the Oasis Class of cruise ships, which is the largest ship class in the world with a length of over 1,187 ft, 18 total decks, and a full capacity of more than 6,780 passengers. With an original cost of $1.2 billion, Allure of the Seas boasts a gross tonnage of 225,282 GT.

Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas offers a wide range of luxury accommodations and activities including a full service spa and fitness rooms, aqua parks with thrilling water slides and a FlowRider surf simulator, a central park area with real trees and an open-air ambience, zip lining 10 decks above the ship’s boardwalk, an ice skating rink, and more. The ship features a variety of suites with stunning ocean views across seven “neighborhoods” with their own unique character and an expansive variety of dining options from all around the world, ranging from casual to fine dining.

Groove Cruise Miami will return to the breathtaking location of Labadee – a Royal Caribbean private destination on Haiti’s northern coast – following the cruise’s last sailing there for Groove Cruise Miami 2023. Labadee was voted by Groove Cruise’s previous Captains as their favorite destination due to the location’s coral reefs, pristine sands, and the crystal blue water which created the perfect destination for the beach party. From endless relaxation spots across five stretches of beach to a half-mile-long zip line ride over the ocean to Labadee’s Dragon’s Tail roller coaster, there will be no shortage of soul-nourishing activities on Labadee for Captains to witness and explore.

Outside of organizing unforgettable parties, Groove Cruise also runs its own non-profit 501c3 organization, the Whet Foundation. Started by Whet Travel‘s founder Jason Beukema, Whet Foundation seeks to impact the communities visited by Whet Travel cruises, inviting cruise attendees to donate and volunteer at their events. The foundation gives back to local communities supplying clothing, food, school donations, beach and community cleanups, painting and art programs, and providing facility repair and improvement costs.

The Groove Cruise Miami 2025 announcement comes ahead of the event’s sold-out 20th anniversary sailing from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas on Wednesday, January 24 – Sunday, January 28, 2024.
