When it comes to industry players that are aware of their culture, Insomniac Events is at the top of the list. With one of the most recognizable, personable and engaged CEOs in Pasquale Rotella leading the way, Insomniac is always listening to the voices of their fans and giving back to the very same community that produced one of EDM’s leading figureheads.
With over an estimate 400,000 tickets sold to Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Insomniac has already allocated $1 dollar from each purchase and $10 from guest list invitations to various non-profit charities in the community. In addition to this, Rotella is notorious for being one of the most responsive figures on social media as well as exuding humility and true appreciation of his fans and EDM supporters.
Insomniac Continues to Give Back
Thus it comes as no surprise that Insomniac has announced the donation of $10,000 to TreePeople, a Los Angeles based non-profit agency focused on environmental awareness, maintaining the water supply, and the local preservation of our wooden friends.
TreePeople Founder and President Andy Lipkis stressed:
With Los Angeles experiencing a historic drought, we need to make every effort to both conserve water – and help our city’s trees to survive.
In honor of Earth Day, Insomniac is giving Headliners the opportunity the fill out a pledge in which you promise to do your best to be more environmentally conscious and aware. By signing the pledge at insomniac.com/earthday2014 you will be automatically entered to be one of 500 people chosen to have a tree planted in your name, receive an electronic ticket in honor of your pledge, and also two tickets to either EDC New York or Audio on The Bay. Entrants have through the end of today to put down their electronic John Hancock.
Speaking to the donation, Rotella stated:
Through Insomniac’s work with the great team at TreePeople, I’ve learned what an important role trees play in everything from keeping our air clean to conserving water […] I hope that our fans will show their love and support alongside us by pledging to make a positive impact on Mother Earth because we can all use a cooler, cleaner and greener place to live.
Good Guy Insomniac strikes again.
