The sold-out 8th annual Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando drew a record-breaking attendance of 110,000 to Tinker Field. The neon utopia was filled with top-notch sound, cutting edge art installations, knarly carnival rides and mystical theatrical performers.
Thanks to EDC Charity Initiative, the “all our welcome here” mentality, wondrous festival grounds and the festival’s astounding economic impact the City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer officially proclaimed November 9th-10th “EDC Orlando Weekend“. This year large contributions were made to the charity, To Write Love on Her Arms.
The Technicolor Marching Band, Rebel Rockets, Electric Barbarellas, Party Animals and of course Elektra. Elektra symbolized all of our vibrant identities glowing inside. Rainbow lights, the Boombox Art Car, bubbles and nutty carnival rides created the neon playground with spectacular views of Orlando.
This year featured a reimagined kineticFIELD, the festival’s nod to the pillar love. Martin Garrix, JOYRYDE, Tiesto, Alesso and Alison Wonderland’s surprise set were housed in the kineticFIELD built of 30 lasers, 16 fog machines, six confetti canons, 12 CO2 jets, LED tiles and 39 flame blasters ie. a full send.

Bassrush’s circuitGROUNDS was absurd as beats boomed by Bassnectar, Illenium‘s signature Awake 2.0 and the debut of his tear-jerking remix of Halsey’s ‘Without Me’ as well as first ever Valentino Khan b2b GTA b2b 4B throw down.
Down the road was the house and techno party at Factory 93’s neonGARDEN with b2b sets such as Nicole Moudaber b2b Paco Osuna, and Jamie Jones b2b The Martinez Brothers.
