The iconic trap duo, Josh Young and Curt Cameruci, of Flosstradamus are not so much of a duo anymore, but will forever be iconic.
On December 20th, Josh Young announced his “somber” split from Flosstradamus, the name that left a permanent imprint on trap music.
I am coming to you with some somber news today. It was after a lot of soul searching, that I decided to leave Flosstradamus and focus full-time on my solo project. – Josh Young
What was originally debuted as his side project, YehMe2, is now what he will be focusing on full-time. Avid fans are now left to ponder the idea of a one-half Flosstradamus… new name just Floss, if it is taking away half of the duo? Is the Trap world more empty or more full now? Fortunately for our solace, it is more FULL. It is time for them to divide and conquer the scene.
Curt Cameruci has reassured us that he is fully prepared to take on Flosstradamus solo dolo.
He has also remained amicable with the situation leaving a supportive farewell to his partner in crime, wishing him the best on his future endeavors.
From the retirement of Sound Remedy to the split of Flosstradamus, 2016 is now the ultimate heartbreak. As many say, when one door closes, another door opens. Let’s hope 2017 brings us a lineup of solid artists and dope Soundcloud playlists.
