Western Canada’s largest outdoor electronic dance music festival, Chasing Summer, took over Max Bell Centre Festival Grounds in Calgary last August 4-5, 2018 with headliners Martin Garrix, Dillon Francis, DJ Snake, Kaskade and we got it all covered!
Gates opened 1pm last Saturday, August 4th allowing the chasers to begin the fun for Day 1. The festival began with beats from Chad Hardcastle, Flatland Funk, Kuuro, Graves, Tigerlily & Cash Cash (in order of performances) at the Chasing Summer Main Stage. While on the second stage, the party began with Burchill, Tko, Slim & Cain, James Bayliss, Whipped Cream & Eprom (in order of performances).
Later that night, the festival got even more hotter with main stage sets from RL Grime, Dillon Francis and Martin Garrix. The pouring rain did not stop the crowd from partying like no other.
In fact, the Chasing Summer experience even got better with the rain!
On the other hand, the sunrise stage was also killing it with extra-ordinary sets from Mija, Space Jesus & Bro Safari.
Chasing Summer took it to the next level on their second and final day for this year’s festival featuring D360, Kris Kaiden, Blu J, Dirt Monkey, Slumberjack, Brohug, Skiitour, Ookay (live) & Black Tiger Sex Machine at the Sunrise Stage.
While Nic Nemesis, Seelo + David Stone, Win + Woo, Mike Williams, Zaxx, Malaa, Borgore, Kaskade and DJ Snake took over the main stage for the last time this year leaving all chasers keep wanting more.
