Swiftly following ‘BANG YOUR HEAD’ with Hairitage on iconic independent Electronic label Monstercat last month, DIESEL pushes his signature destructive sound forward as he calls upon Crankdat for a second rager, ‘HEAT’, releasing today, July 7th. ‘HEAT’ is the second taste of DIESEL’s forthcoming album, expected to drop in time to dominate this Summer’s festival season.
Of Crankdat, DIESEL shares,
“Christian is one of those artists that make your head turn every time you hear their music. The man is a monster in the studio and I have learned a lot from him. Working together on ‘HEAT’ was special. Releasing our record as a single and on my album with Monstercat just made sense and we’re pumped to finally get it out in the world.”
Rapidly firing an insane volume of frequencies that flow directly into a heart-pounding pace, DIESEL’s energetic vocals pump up the crowd for the fury approaching. As sirens sound off along with mechanical synths and powerful instrumentals, DIESEL and Crankdat invite all dubstep enthusiasts to ride the rail. Suddenly, all hell breaks loose with a menacing bass line intertwined with hard-hitting vocals, which prove DIESEL and Crankdat are a menacing force to reckon with.
With the unveiling of two monstrous collaborative singles now, fans can expect the rest of the album to be full of destruction and populated with DIESEL’s favorite bass DJs.
Crankdat and Shaq have been friends since DIESEL entered the bass scene. Forming a friendship that dates back nearly five years, Crankdat played a significant role in the evolution of DIESEL; from creating original music together, to helping DIESEL curate his sets with all new edits and records, their long-time kinship is genuine and inspirational.
Coming up, DIESEL is taking his touring live event series “Shaq’s Bass All Stars” to the next level with his first large-scale bass music festival: Shaq’s Bass All Stars Festival. Taking place at Panther Island Pavilion on Sept. 16 in Fort Worth, Texas, the event will feature a 15+ artist lineup curated by the legend himself, including Crankdat, Alison Wonderland, Kai Wachi, Sullivan King, and many more.
The event promises to be explosive, judging by the intensity of DIESEL’s appearances at Bonnaroo and Electric Forest 2023 as he continues his “SUMMER OF BASS” Tour.
