Over the years, Chicago-based event company React Presents has established themselves as a power player in the Midwest. The brainchildren behind North Coast, Summer Set, Freaky Deaky, Reaction NYE, and Mamby on the Beach, few boast the resume that React brings to the table.
With such a reputation to uphold, it comes as no surprise that one of their flagship music festivals – Spring Awakening – has unleashed the Cracken with its 2016 lineup. Stepping to the decks in the Windy City will be the formerly retired Gesaffelstein, deadmau5, Above & Beyond, and many more.
Says Spring Awakening Music Festival Founder Jeff Callahan:
The process of orchestrating a festival of this size within the city of Chicago is staggering. We care very much about the communities in which we look to hold these events, and work closely with city officials to ensure that they run smoothly. Therefore, this required us to reassess Spring Awakening’s location to find something that’s a better fit. We worked very hard to find a new home for Spring Awakening in a very short amount of time, and would like to thank our fans for their patience and unconditional support.
