Good things are bound to happen when two great bass producers get together in the studio.
Case in point, take the pleasantly surprising collaboration between Cashmere Cat and DJ Mustard – the producer behind numerous hit hip-hop tracks such as 2 Chainz’s “I’m Different“, Young Jeezy’s “R.I.P.” and Tyga’s “Rack City.”
Their new song “Ice Rink” has been a year in the making as they started the tune in January ’14.
The track combines both artist’s styles well; Cashmere Cat’s light-hearted style and synths meshing well with DJ Mustard’s heavy hitting 808 basslines.
