Bonnaroo Announces an Unbelievable Lineup For Their 16th Year

For the 16th year in a row, Bonnaroo comes back to The Farm in Manchester, Tennessee from June 8th-11th. The initial lineup for the four-day camping festival has just been announced. This time the Festival Producers, Superfly and A.C. Entertainment, were able to convince U2 to perform The Joshua Tree to commemorate the album’s 30th anniversary.

Other headliners that Bonnaroo was able to pull this year are Major Lazer, Flume, The XX, Marshmello, Tove Lo, and The Weeknd.

Beyond these bigger names, the lineup is staked with the best underground electronic artists like Illenium and beloved jam bands like Greensky Bluegrass.

In addition to the wide variety of music, there will be Comedians performing across the 13 unique stages. Also, the Festival Producers want to encourage living a healthier lifestyle, so they have incorporated a 5k run and yoga sessions that will rejuvenate your body and soul.

This year’s hilarious lineup of Comedians comprises of Zach Galifianakis, Conan O’Brien, Louis C.K., Aziz Ansari, Chris Rock, Daniel Tosh, John Oliver and much more.

Furthermore, there will be an air conditioned film room that will host a variety of movies and activities, such as interactive screenings, live film scoring, and Q & A sessions with special guests and actors.

Another noteworthy factor of this festival is, as of last year there have been over 400 permanent toilets, hundreds of permanent shower stalls and watering stations installed.

That’s right, true luxury, no more gnarly bathroom breaks. Also, Bonnaroo is one of America’s most environmentally friendly festivals, because it is the only major event in the US with solar power and compost waste on site.
