Tim Bergling, otherwise known as international dance music mega-star Avicii, has once again cancelled (official wording: “postponed”) all of his remaining 2015 performances.
Shadowing last year’s similar cancellations, Avicii stated:
“I look forward to keep being innovative with my team in leading a bigger change than just with my music. In moving my tour promotional responsibilities to next year, I have a great opportunity to focus on myself and spend time trying to grow up in a way I never got the chance to – normal, or as normal as it could get. My team, label and family have encouraged me to do that and I realize not many in my position get that opportunity.”
While last year’s performances were reportedly cancelled due to health issues, this year is different. According to Billboard, Avicii’s team cites the stressors of producing his second album, Stories, as well as directing the music videos for his singles “For a Better Day” and “Pure Grinding” as contributing factors for the cancellations.
Regardless of the reasoning, this is the second year that the Swede has cancelled a string of major performances.
All is not well on the Avicii front.
