Controversy behind button pushing DJs has loomed over the electronic dance music community for quite some time. It is no secret that performers exist who have their sets pre-programmed, if not produced entirely by someone else, and simply walk out on stage to press play and engage in an hour of theatrics. Many producers such as Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, and others have discussed this issue and what it means to them.
The latest to voice his opinion is A-Trak.
One of the most prolific DJs of our time, A-Trak is no stranger to what it takes to man the decks. Having won the World DJ Championships at age 15 and worked with the most prestigious names in the industry, A-Trak has as much room to voice his opinion as any one.
