Today Afroman and Kid Lennon release the music video for ‘Cuz I’m High’ featuring YHK De$tin. The remix of ‘Because I Got High’ surfaced on Cosmic Wire on August 20th, while tonight brings the music video premiere party in Kid Lennon’s hometown Oklahoma City. The first 100 people through the door at Crew Workspace gets a free pre-roll, provided by The Project OKC (with a med-card). Put the music video on the projector and create your own party to celebrate 21 years since the original.
For the remix of the timeless record, the well-deserving Kid Lennon gets space to lay down his sharp verses, while fellow Young Hippy Kid, De$tin offers the perfect voice for the classic hook. Afroman shares his good vibe and takes the story in a new direction with fresh bars.
Prior to the release of, ‘Cuz I’m High’, Kid Lennon joined Afroman on stage, the catalyst to a new relationship. Lennon has also shared the stage with Lil Wayne, Migos, Ludacris and EDM’s new favorite artist, DJ Diesel. It was Kid’s viral performance of ‘Hippy Kid’ that coerced Shaq on stage with him and singles like ‘Juice’ or ‘Good Gone Bad’ that cemented his role as Chief Peace.
