LCD Soundsystem

Miami will be witnessing a rare performance by Grammy-nominated LCD Soundsystem, marking the band’s only Florida show and most intimate festival appearance of the year.

While they originally disbanded in 2011, they joined forces once again this year for an expanded tour and new album, which will see critical acclaim as their previous works have.

Flying Lotus

Experimental multi-genre producer Flying Lotus is a must-see if he’s playing at a festival near you.

As a critically acclaimed producer, he has released 5 albums, produced the bumper music of Cartoon Network’s “Adult Swim”, and has produced for rappers such as Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, and Chance the Rapper.

M83

Synth-pop pioneers M83 are a French band that influenced many modern day electronic artists. Synth-pop as a genre is an early fusion of electronic music and pop and has been re-appearing as of late.

Artists such as Porter Robinson and Madeon regularly played their hit “Midnight City”, and were inspired by their work for their albums.

Ta-Ku

Australian producer Ta-Ku has been at the forefront of the instrumental hip-hop/future bass/trap scene and his tracks have garnered millions of plays.

From collaborations with Jaden Smith to remixing FlumeChet Faker, and more, he has become a high profile artist under the Future Classic label.

Sophie

Perhaps one of the most mysterious producers in the scene Sophie hails from the UK and has an extremely unique sound. His work on the PC Music label have allowed him to produce for major music acts such as Madonna and Charli XCX.

Known for his bubbly future-pop sound and high-pitched female vocals, his sound has been supported and acclaimed by music lovers and critics alike.

Denzel Curry

Floridian rapper Denzel Curry has popped off since he burst on to the scene 3 years ago. He released his sophomore album “Imperial” in March which saw collaborations with Rick Ross and Joey Bada$$.

From hits such as “Threatz” and “Ultimate”, he was inducted into the XXL’s 2016 Freshmen class – which only means that his career is on the up and up.

Chrome Sparks

Brooklyn producer Chrome Sparks blew up when his original track “Marijuana” was released. Originally a drummer for the band Stepdad, his solo career took off when the internet-stoner anthem reached #1 on hype machine.

A song title matching the atmosphere, the track currently has over 6 million plays and brought him to the Australian record label Future Classic.

Joe Kay

Joe Kay is the co-founder of Soulection, a music collective, radio show, and movement that originated in Los Angeles. Originally starting as a local podcast, Soulection now streams on Beats 1 every Saturday to an audience of millions.

Dubbed as “The Sound of tomorrow”, the radio show and platform have given rise to artists such as Mr. CarmackSam GellaitryEsta, and more.

Esta

Esta is one of the key players in Soulection and is known for his sample-based R&B production style. Featuring elements of trap and future bass, he joins the new-wave along with Mr. Carmack and other Soulection artists, to re-invent the way beats are made.

Earl Sweatshirt

Former OFWGKTA member Earl Sweatshirt rose to fame in 2010 with his debut mixtape “Earl” which saw critical acclaim. Written when he was only 16, the mixtape featured depraved and violent lyrics placed in an eloquent way.

Since then, he left the rap super-group OFWGKTA and is preparing his third album to be released.
