It’s officially summer and almost halfway through the roaring 2015 festival season (sadly). As we progress and make the eventual slow passage from summer to fall, there are a number of enchanting festivals laying in wait that deserve to be at the top of your shindig radar this year.
With more lineups being released every week, this list is only getting longer, too. We’re not mad about it.
In order to stay up-to-date on the biggest electronic events and festivals, we’ve compiled this list of 5 music festivals that you have to hit at least once in your life:
Camp Bisco
Where: Montage Mountain, Scranton, Pennsylvania
When: Thursday, July 16 through Saturday, July 18, 2015
The famous Camp Bisco Music Festival moved location to Scranton, Pennsylvania this year after taking a hiatus in 2014. For those who have never been to Bisco, this is the year to change that. With artists like The Disco Biscuits, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, STS9, Tipper, Big Gigantic, Emancipator, and Manic Focus on the bill – Camp Bisco is set to bring a special blend of shenanigans to Scranton this summer. You can guarantee it.
Imagine Music Festival
Where: Historic Fourth Ward Park and Masquerade Music Park, Atlanta, Georgia
When: Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, 2015
In only its second year, Imagine Music Festival is a one-of-a-kind city festival that’s thrown in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. After hearing so many rave reviews from last year, this year’s edition shot to the top of our list of festivals to check out. With only phase 1 of the lineup released so far (phase 2 is on the way) Imagine 2015 is one festival to put some serious thought into this year. With Dada Life, The Glitch Mob, GRiZ, Chromeo, Crystal Method, G Jones, Shpongle, Papadosio, MK Ultra, and more set to play – get ready to boogie down in ATL this summer.

With 7 indoor and outdoor venues including a solar-powered UFO stage, treehouse DJ booth, and 7,000 square foot indoor club along with a lake, fire tower, 120′ water slide, ferris wheel, tie dye stations, community art wall, yoga, water volleyball tournaments, and more – Backwoods Music Festival will be an all-encompassing festival experience to make the soul rejoice. Oh, and did we mention that Infected Mushroom, ODESZA, Porter Robinson, BoomBox, Break Science, Dieselboy, Manic Focus, The Floozies, Wick-It the Instigator, and about 150 other acts are playing. It’s going to be huge.

This year’s Symbiosis Gathering celebrates the 10 year reunion of the beloved music festival. Held at Woodward Reservoir in Oakdale, California, Symbiosis Gathering brings together music, art, yoga, literature, permaculture, and more into a single experience that speaks deeply to festival attendees. With an absolutely beautiful location and an array of artists featuring but not limited to Nicolas Jaar, Tipper, GRiZ, Shpongle, Emancipator Ensemble, The Polish Ambassador, Minnesota x G Jones (B2B), and Quantic – Symbiosis Gathering is one West Coast festival that stands atop our list.
Suwannee Hulaween

And there it is, 5 music festivals that absolutely scream good times.
By no means is this an all-encompassing list; there isn’t enough time in the day to write something of those mammoth proportions. Instead, these are just 5 music festivals that we’re absolutely psyched for, and we hope you are too.
