While they’re only playing the official Summer Set after party, The Floozies always deserve to be mentioned with their epic alien-level funk dance parties. Comprised of brothers Matt and Mark Hill, The Floozies’ quirky style sounds like a collaboration somewhere between the likes of James Brown, P-Funk, and spaceship full of interstellar bass messiahs. It’s funky, it’s glitchy, and it’s epic.

With a raunchy sound that constantly pushes the future funk genre to new heights, The Floozies dance-fueling performances are something that you can’t pass up – trust us.

Bending the traditional rules between the electronic and organic realms, in their short time together musicians Kyle Holly (live drums/music production) and Charlie Thornton (bass guitar, music production) have been making a serious mark on today’s ever-changing musical landscape.

Having shared the stage with STS9, Big Gigantic, The Disco Biscuits, Zoogma, Manic Focus, The Floozies, The New Deal, Turbo Suit, and more since their inception in 2013 – expect to see big things from Modern Measure in the near future.
