Manic Focus
John McCarten AKA Manic Focus is quickly rising as an unstoppable force in the dance music community with his signature blend of warm glitched-out grooves. With a style that hits all genres ranging from electro hip-hop to glitch to future bass and everything in between, Manic Focus’ productions hit a range of emotion that few artists can.
Consistently morphing his sound to new and never-before-heard amalgamations, Manic Focus has shared the stage with a scattering of today’s top artists. Modern Measure
Modern Measure is one of the growing legion of artists who are pushing the boundaries of electronic music through their incorporation of live organic instrumentation on stage and in the studio. Jamtronica, livetronica, damn good music – whatever you want to call it, that’s what they do.
Bending the traditional rules between the electronic and organic realms, in their short time together musicians Kyle Holly (live drums/music production) and Charlie Thornton (bass guitar, music production) have been making a serious mark on today’s ever-changing musical landscape.
Having shared the stage with STS9, Big Gigantic, The Disco Biscuits, Zoogma, Manic Focus, The Floozies, The New Deal, Turbo Suit, and more since their inception in 2013 – expect to see big things from Modern Measure in the near future.
Vaski
The Minneapolis, Minnesota native turned Los Angeles resident Vaski is set to bring the bass fury to Wisconsin and Summer Set 2015 with his flawless bass-heavy productions. First gaining his initial break with the rise of American dubstep, Vaski has proven himself to be one of the more diverse electronic artists in the scene today.
Whether he’s creating dance floor smashing dubstep, tightly wound electro, silky future bass, or any number of a broad spectrum of styles – Vaski always guarantees to impress.
Haywyre
Glitch, jazz, classical, and more – each of these descriptors lends themselves to the ever-changing musical conglomeration that is Haywyre. Martin Vogt AKA Haywyre has been making some serious waves in the American EDM scene since returning to the U.S. from Austria in 2008.
After studying piano performance for 14+ years, the keyboard has quickly become Vogt’s go-to method of dance floor destruction. With fleet fingers Haywyre’s one-of-a-kind improvisational performances are a true sight to behold.
