Anthony Ward, also known as “The Flower Guru,” has been performing on stage since 2002 with various bands, DJs, and performers. In over ten years of performing Anthony has created sculptures on stage for STS9, Tipper, The Polish Ambassador while even being showcased by Dr. Maya Angelou, Vice President Al Gore and many more. His talents and passions have taken him around the world sharing his creations with those far and wide.
We had the opportunity to see him at Gratifly Music and Arts Festival on multiple occasions and can say, as talented as he is, watching the videos below does not do this man justice.
If you have the opportunity to see him in person and you should definitely grab it.
In an interview with Dance Mogul Magazine, Ward described his passion and ambitions:
I have been creating on stage since 2002 , Merging Dance and Floral Art to my knowledge nobody else on this planet is doing this […] I would love to choreograph a piece with a ballet company or create a Cirque du Solei type event […] Every time I do an event and I have done them in Paris, and Japan as well people say I have never seen anything like this. I am now working with DJs, and music producers doing their full sets creating 2 or 3 floral sculptures in their hour set.
Anthony Ward will be the subject of a documentary “Dancing With Flowers,” chronicling his talents and passion of the floral arts.
