As Tomorrowland prepares for the second weekend of the 10th anniversary edition of the monumental festival in Boom, Belgium, Brazilian ravers are rejoicing after news has broke that the festival will be heading to Sao Paulo in May of 2015.
After quelling rumors during the previous week, SFX Entertainment finally confirmed the announcement Monday morning after David Guetta broke the news in the middle of his Sunday set. While being broadcast to hundreds of thousands of ravers around the world, Guetta paused his set to announce:
I have a great, super exclusive, crazy amazing announcement to do.I want to say to all my people in Brazil. Tomorrowland is coming to you!
This marks the second expansion of the festival since coming to The United States in 2013. The event will take place in Itu, just outside of Sao Paulo from May 1-3, 2015. Those wishing to go must pre-register to purchase tickets by clicking here.
Pre-registration runs through September 5 with tickets going on sale to the public September 6.
